Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê (/ˈɘje/ /ˈg̃èʃo/ [last (final); last (previous)] [total]) is a subtropical Town located in the Lëcêngthëvi Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê was founded by Tshelë Shesêbm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê receives an average of 231 cm/y (90 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1090 m (3576 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê was founded durring the late 10th century, by Tshelë Shesêbm. The establishment of Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Tshelë Shesêbm struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê as a prison colony.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê is buildings are arranged within a network of crampt packed earth streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The minimaly adiquite has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Civic Infrastructure

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê's parks.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is short in Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê.

The Soulsliver near Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê are known to be quite timid.

Êye-g̈èsho Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves bloodletting to channel Illusion energies of tier 2 via proclamations.
